Hymn Study: I am Resolved

Yesterday I posted how we do hymn study. Today, I'm posting some fun links that we are using this month as we study the AO selection for September, I am Resolved.

Video for your enjoyment:

We enjoyed this one as a whole family.  We LOVED it.  It is sung by a church in Harlem.

Performed on a mountain dulcimer:

Here's an entirely different style of music... same hymn :)  Also VERY nice.
Get out your hymn book and sing along!

Sheet music and mp3 file:

At timelesstruths.org you'll find the sheet music, midi and mp3 file for free download.  woohoo!!

  1. love the hymn tutorial, i am no musician, so seeing your very practical uses of utube just rocks my world. i played this very song at lunch today and a couple other versions, the girls really perked up over a mormon choir seeing the song, it was good. thanks for the great ideas. and since this post is ridiculously long, how was it when you first started homeschooling? what struggles, what was easy? curious, always enjoy a good FAITH read.
