It's a Buddha belly plant, 'Jatropha podagrica'!
It's really attractive to interesting insects as I've seen LOTS of butterflies enjoying it as well as a HUGE praying mantis another day! :)

Thank you, Amy. I saw your answer over at my still existing, but very neglected blog. Thanks for caring enough to find me over there and giving me the answer :) I was curious about the plant because it reminded of something we have here and haven't been able to identity. We are far, far away from Peru, but who knows, maybe they're related.
