32+ hours of Peru.

It took 32 hours(+) to cross Peru from east to west and then back again.
I've got the pictures to prove it.
:)

There's one picture per hour, plus some, but unfortunately they're not pictured here by order taken.

  2. That is amazing. We are studying world geography this year. We will be looking at Peru at some point. We will be coming back to have them take a look at this. Your life may be hard at times, but many times it is magical.

  4. it really IS awe-inspiring, silvia! as we drive along and i see towering jungle trees, majestic mountains, terraced rice paddies, looming valleys, rushing rivers, rolling desert sands... honestly, i am impressed by God's greatness. every. time. AND at the same time, i am impressed by the extreme neediness of people. we drive by hundreds of people who live very remotely and with very little. it is always a good reminder when i start getting caught up again in my own little world.

  5.  Amy your comment reminded me about those people with truly so little.  Sadly those people are for us here in the USA little more than an abstraction. A few weeks ago one of our missionaries that works in Africa showed us pics of the people in Botswana and Mozambique, and told us they do not have that maize paste that is their only daily meal... ufff... that reminds us also of the true dependency we have in God and that we, in this part of the word, forget and think we are our own makers and masters.

Thanks for also being my reminder and shaking me a bit from my own little world too.

    Un abrazo,
    s

  6. You would laugh if you saw how hard I tried to zoom in on your pictures with my mouse. My eyesight isn't as good as it used to be, y'know. :) I can't believe y'all drove so far in such a short period of time. Thankful for your safety and for your heart's desire to reach the lost with the Good News. <3 y'all!
