@ Paula, from our calculations, it's either a Flycatcher (one of the MANY) or a Bananaquit!

the orioles we have here look quite different... more black than grey and no white. :)

I'm so excited about the new bird book we've recently received with birds specific to Peru!

We spent our time out-of-doors learning -- through careful observation -- the finer points of having the septic tank pumped. Your monkey would have enjoyed it.
